Editorial Policy
This policy explains how Sydney Pools Night collects, checks, updates and corrects results information.
How data is collected
Draw results are entered against a calendar date, with a prize category, a six-digit result and a draw time. The public pages read those records directly.
How data is checked
When a source is recorded, it is shown on the date page. A reviewer field can be filled when a second check has been done. We do not display a “verified” label unless that status has been stored.
Who updates results
Updates are made by the editorial team through the site’s results dashboard. Author and reviewer names appear on a date page only when they have been recorded for that date.
How corrections are handled
A correction replaces the stored number for that date and prize. The last updated time changes automatically. A correction note and correction time can be added so the change is visible.
When pages are updated
A date page is available after the recorded draw time for that date, and only if the stored result is a published number rather than a placeholder.
How sources are attributed
Source name and source URL are shown when provided. If they are missing, the page does not invent a source. See also the data policy.
